Setup Criteria
To setup a SMSF with My SMSF you will need to have
the following:
- At least $100,000 – $200,000 between 1-6 members
- Receive super contributions and income over $150,000 p.a combined between 1-6
- People Take an interest in investing and managing your super
We suggest you complete a new SMSF member course. This is a FREE course for new SMSF Members. Complete this to get started on your SMSF setup journey

You can choose from one of three packages to suit your SMSF management needs. We have tailored our packages to reflect the level of investment complexity and risk in your fund, which determines the work required and therefore your price.

Our Process
Complete the following steps to get started
Contact us for a FREE phone or Whatsapp consultation to discuss your needs
Agree to go ahead and start your online SMSF setup application
– You will need your driver’s license + Medicare card details handy
– Create a Super Fund name IE: T James Super Fund ( Tom James is the only member, so we used his surname and first initial to create an SMSF and SMSF Trustee company
– You will setup your online account, by choosing a password and by verifying your phone number
- In our Client Dashboard you find all the key forms to complete the setup
- Complete, My SMSF Agreement,
- ATO Declaration, Investment Strategy
- Upload your ID and confirm your TFN
- Make payment of $880 for your corporate Trustee Company + you can use a credit card or use Poli pay via our Dashboard
- We will then start the process to apply for your funds : Trustee Company, ABN/TFN for the Fund with the ATO, issue a deed for your SMSF, open a Macquarie bank account and assist with Digital super rollovers
- We will setup your company trustee and SMSF Trust Deed
- Apply for an ABN/TFN with the ATO
- Open your SMSF Bank Account
- Super rollovers are now Digital, so you provide instructions on rolling over super using MyGov
- All investment accounts are setup up by our customers using the SMSF documents in My SMSF Documents Folder
- We assist you with employer contribution arrangements ( choice of fund form)
- Watch our video and complete your fund checklist
- Upload your supporting documents
- a) We complete your work b) you sign tax documents and pay your tax c) we lodge your return and provide you with your audit report
Our Conditions
We offer a discounted setup for your SMSF ( $880 fee)
provided that you complete one (1) year’s administration
with us. If you fail to do this, a fee of $1,550 is payable for the
time spent setting up your fund.
